Location Overview
Situated on the new FAST (Fifteenth Avenue Smart Transit) corridor Bridge Point’s superior location means convenience, opportunity, and potential. The new FAST corridor is a visionary city-shaping project to deliver a high-quality public transport link between the Liverpool CBD and Western Sydney International Airport. Under the Western Sydney City Deal, the NSW Government has committed to a rapid connection between the Airport, the new Aerotropolis and Liverpool’s CBD in time for the airport’s opening in 2026. The FAST Corridor will be a key gateway for visitors to Australia showcasing the unique natural environment of South West Sydney. The corridor will be inviting and vegetated with transport infrastructure naturally forming part of the landscape. This parkway will reinforce the city’s commitment to effective public transport and active transport, such as cycling and walking.
Council will also encourage compact medium/high-density development in appropriate locations along the corridor. Design decisions will prioritise affordability and achievability while ensuring high quality place-making and connection to existing natural assets, including the Western Sydney Parklands and waterways.
The FAST Corridor will help reduce sprawl, improve public transport, and preserve the unique character of our region.
The FAST transit will be the ‘daily commute’ for many Sydney Siders as the aerotropolis and surrounds open up creating increased employment opportunities. Austral residential sales have thrived, mostly consisting of young families and first home investors. Leppington-Cobbity has been one of the fastest Growth Precincts in both NSW and Australia, and that population is expected to double between the years 2021 and 2026, with that same precinct growing from 6,270 to 18,505 in 10 years (195%). Suburbs such as Leppington East (Willowdale), Gregory Hills, Oran Park and Edmondson Park have already demonstrated strong growth and well-established communities, with the median annual wage in Edmondson Park comparing to that of Alexandria.
Along Fifteenth Avenue connects Austral to West Hoxton and Middleton Grange, an area with a higher median house price and higher median household incomes. Austral is expected to follow suit, and the homes within proximity to Fifteenth Avenue are perceived to be of a higher value than the South Side of Austral/Leppington North. This is due to proximity to the school, parklands etc.
Bradfield will occupy more than 100 hectares of land just north of existing suburb Bringelly. The new western Sydney airport terminal is expected to cost $5.3 billion
